A place to invest time and resources. Religion is on the table in Salt Lake. If we win Utah we can win the world.

After 9 years, Bill feels there is a wave that is happening. God is transforming the Mormon church at the leadership level.

Because Christians have such a small percentage it is imperative that we be connected together with other Christians.

Many who claim to be Mormon don't go to the Mormon church.

The Wasatch Front project invites all who want to participate significantly in time, effort and resources to be a part.

The Vision

•After much prayer and seeking God’s direction, the Wasatch Front Team believes that God is calling us to plan and execute a region-reaching strategy to plant 6 (to 10) new church planting churches on the Wasatch Front in the next 3 years. We want to make a significant impact for Christ in a place that needs Him more than ever. Through the initial efforts of six men our vision is to expand the vision to at least 30 men who fully understand the impact this vision could make on one of the most unchurched areas in America. Through the power of prayer and actions we want the Wasatch Front to fully understand the true meaning of Acts 2:42 and carry it out to its fullest

Opening Prayer Time

Dean Trune led us in prayer for the Wasatch Valley. We need truth and power. If we only use one tool, we will never succeed. Must handle both weapons equally well.

Chairs of Prayer

Chair 1-- I have no desire to pray, my prayer life is ill, it is not important
Chair 2 -- Prayer life is sporadic and produces guilt
Chair 3 -- Prayer is a way for God to bless me not for a way for God to use me.
Chair 4 -- Prayer is necessary not just important
Chair 5 -- Ministry of intercession -- prayer is critical
Chair 6 -- Spiritual warfare over a community

The time has come

For the past 6 years a group of men have been praying, planning and attempting to recruit planters to come to SLC. October 29 marks the beginning of a new era.

In early summer, 2008, a group of 6 men met in Salt Lake City to pray and ask God for wisdom. Our human efforts seemed to have been falling short. Very quickly after that a city reaching strategy has emerged.

On the eve of Oct 29, we believe that a great new beginning for the gospel is approaching.
